  2. Welcome to Sheffield Park Black History and Cultural Museum! My name is Carolynn Wilson and I am the curator and co-owner of Sheffield Museum. This is where the history of early Black pioneers and settlers in Simcoe and Grey Counties is preserved, restored and experienced.

  5. Feb 15, 2022 · The Sheffield Park Black History Museum was founded in 1990 by their uncle, Howard Sheffield, and is now operated by the two sisters. The museum has a host of artifacts which tell the story of Black people in Canada, and specifically the stories of local Black families. “The story needs to be told,” Sylvia said.
