Sub or dub. I’m about to finally watch the overlord anime and I wanted to get everyone’s opinion on whether to watch it in English or subbed. Sub, but the dub is not half bad. i think it's always best to watch the subbed first. you get a truer viewing as sometimes the dub changes some lines.
While I have watched it in both sub and dub (because some reaction channel only watch in dub), no dub can make it sound better than original. Have you watched any English shows dubbed to Japanese (with top notch JP VA industry backing)? Spoiler: They can be decent but not better than original language. Same goes for Anime.
It really depends, because sometimes the dub doesn’t have the mistakes, that the sub does. The most recent mistake was on season 4 ep 8. Where they mixed up 2 kingdoms. And Ainz name being spelt Ains in the sub and sometimes the dub does give more information.
