This film tells the story of two renowned actors of the Fascist cinema, Luisa Ferida and Osvaldo Valenti, who were supporters of the Italian Social Republic. Accused of collaboration and torture, they were shot by the Partisans on 30 April 1945, after the country was liberated.
All of the directors were new to the series, and it was shot in four production blocks: episodes 1–4, episodes 5–8, episode 9, and episodes 10–13. Filming for the third series began in February 2014 and ended in May 2014 and the series aired from 15 September until 27 October 2014.
Synopsis. Valenti and Ferida - executed by partisans. Idolised by the public, a famous and infamous couple on and off screen. Stars of the Fascist endorsed 'white telephone' cinema, their private lives were as wild as the villainous, depraved characters they portrayed.
