Dec 29, 2020 · I want to mod my singleplayer game while being able to play vanilla multiplayer without the mods interfering with Online mode. I have found a solution with a mod manager, that only adds mods if you launch SIngleplayer from the tool.
When you select "Singleplayer", it puts whatever mods you've selected into the game folder, removes whatever mods you've de-selected, and runs the game in offline mode. When you click "GTA: Online", it removes all of the mods and runs the game in online mode.

FiveM will work. Regular GTA Online won't. You'll get banned, or you just won't be able to connect. If you use OpenIV, you can stream the mods from a different directory so that they don't directly replace the original files, you just tell the game to load files from a different folder instead.
