Dec 16, 2022 · The amended application reduces the rate increase from 3.5 per cent in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 fiscal years, to only two per cent each year, well below the current rate of inflation. After a public hearing where intervenors can submit further evidence for consideration, the Public Utilities Board will ultimately decide what the rate increase, if any, will be for one or both of the years.
