Cause I'll be a able to select 4K on YouTube and watch the 1080p restream even better! Better user interface. I don't want my video shutting off if I scroll the page accidentally. Also you can't watch Twitter videos on other devices like Chromecast/Apple TV/various OSes used on TVs.
This move makes SpaceX streams less accessible to most people. Especially since X does not have apps available on as many platforms as YouTube (including TV, game consoles, etc).
