Dec 17, 2020 · Everything felt like it was deliberately set to fit in an actual 1984 movie. Random chaos and people bumping into each other on small sets, crumpled papers whirling everywhere, cheesy dialogue. That is a good way of looking at it actually. but it isnt deliberate enough to be obvious so it just looked sloppy and cheesy.

Dec 24, 2020 · It literally teaches little girls that being able to wear high heels and look good in a dress are symbolic of being a powerful “wonder” woman. They spend the first half of the movie talking about how good Gal Gadot looks and then when Kristen Wiig gains powers “like Wonder Woman” they show it as her suddenly being proficient in heels.

May 8, 2024 · The first movie was fairly generic. But you have to consider the context at the time. DC was having a difficulty putting anything remotely watchable on the big screen, so compared to the other DCEU movies Wonder Woman seemed like a masterpiece just for being able to do the basics of what you expect of a superhero movie.

At one point wonder woman has sex with this man, and it could be construed as rape since the original owner of the body never consents to sex. Honestly the sex shouldn't be the most disturbing part of that situation. They steal a guy's body/soul and then go gallivanting around the world and getting shot at.
Mar 8, 2024 · No one watched this movie so we don’t know how shitty of a detail this actually is. This isn't a shitty movie detail, this is 100% accurate. Yeah. She roofies him with Chris Pine. Dude never even knows he got Gadot'd. Literally 1984. So the detail is correct, but the movie is real shitty, so I guess this post counts.
