Jun 17, 2022 · Feel. Something that the new 2022 Titleist Velocity golf balls improved on was feel. It is a little more firm than previous versions. The 2020 version was not as firm and when putting and made a dead clicking sound with little feedback. Titleist improved on this and the feel of the balls is way better.
Aug 25, 2024 · Overall Rating and Thoughts. My review of Titleist Velocity golf balls reveals that the construction has improved since its inception in 2012. However, it still lacks greenside spin, feel, and acoustics. It’s also not the longest-distance ball I’ve struck off the tee, but it redeemed itself on approach shots.
