TYO Animations (TYO Animations Inc) was the corporate name of Yumeta Company (YUMETA CO., LTD.) from July 1, 2009 to December 1, 2017. Established as Shizuoka Animation (Shizuoka Animation Co., Ltd.) on March 5, 1986, by Satoshi Yamaguchi, a former animator at Tama Production.
In December 2017, Memory Tech Holdings' Graphinica acquired the studio from TYO as a subsidiary and reverted its name to Yumeta Company.
