50 votes, 33 comments. true. wow, thanks. fruitless research was really fun to work on because tw gave me free reign over production and mixing. so a lot the songs started as more folk/rock songs and in a lot of cases i'd reharmonize the song with different chords and instrumentation. i used a lot of sequential six track and korg microsampler on that as well. tim writes the BEST lyrics imo.
