Hardly a word about the out of control housing, health or economic situation for years. But now it is wall to wall CANCER!, NO HOUSING!, POVERTY!!!!
Oct 11, 2020 · Rural Cape Breton isn't really comparable and you have to bring your expectations for amenities way down. Especially if you're basing your assumption on what life is like from tourist brochures. Baddeck seems busy because it's a tourist town - it's definitely bustling in summer, but as soon as that ends most of it dies down.
