Jul 1, 2023 · Is there a way to get API documentation from EDHRec to use in python? I can't find any info about it, and it'd be really helpful for a tool I'm designing. I know how to get the API info from Scryfall, and that's what I've been using, but for card synergies and similar things, EDHRec would be a huge improvement. Is there a way to get that?

Jul 13, 2021 · EDHrec very quickly turned into r/magicthecirclejerking with players only playing the popular "synergistic" cards without understanding what those words mean or what the cards do. Synergy on EDHrec literally only means "hey we saw the majority of decks using this commander use this card" it doesn't look at how that card works with that commander.

Aug 23, 2022 · You can use the EDHREC ordering in scryfall. "ci:wubrg" is the color identity filter and sort:edhrec sorts by the edhrec masterlist. game:arena shows only arena available cards. Nov 25, 2021 · Despite being a Commander derivative, I would suggest that you would be better off looking to Vintage, Legacy, Modern, and Pauper for deck ideas. Sad but true. Lol this is so funny, esp since Wizards announced that theyre now fully supporting Oathbreaker, even with their own decks. Lol bad timing EDHREC.
Oct 2, 2022 · The best way to view Synergy is the way to hunt for spice in EDHrec. If a card has very high synergy it's used in that commander and not as much outside, making it that commander's signature move. Staples tend to hover around 0 but if you notice one that's deeply underwater (like -20) then maybe there's a reason to not run it here when you ...
