Biggest scam in Canada right now. If anyone knows the Joker’s agents phone # please comment before I take legal action, because this is f*kn ridiculous, I’ve never had a problem with actual prepaid visas like (MyPrepaidCenter, etc). And now you know why they’re called Joker. Happened to us in June.

Dec 26, 2022 · ADMIN MOD. New Prepaid Joker Credit Card Scam. Misc. This literally just happened a few minutes ago. I had purchased a prepaid credit card as a gift and was very careful to make sure to check the packaging was intact, hologram was right. I also checked the cashier as it was scanned and on the receipt as well, so I though everything was fine.
Jan 3, 2024 · Credit. I just got a joker visa card as a gift and decided to register it for online purchases at jokercard.ca (website provided on the card and the packaging). Only after confirming the balance and such, I read reddit posts saying people have been getting scammed after putting their card information online to register these joker cards.
Jun 18, 2023 · Unfortunately a lot of these prepaid cards have pretty bad customer service. Only way to get the funds is to contact them again and press for them to return the funds to you. If you buy these cards, make sure to drain them ASAP as these cards are prime targets for scammers to tamper with them. 9.

I had just activated my card on their website jokercard.ca and was able to use it on amazon.ca when I tried to use it again just a few hours later it said insufficient balance. When I checked transactions, I found that someone had used my card for 311 CAD.
Dec 5, 2023 · I received two $500 Joker Visa prepaid cards (activated) from work as a bonus. I've never used a prepaid credit card before because they seem scammy and full of hidden fees (I even once threw out a $25 one I received once because it seemed like so much trouble for what would definitely be less than $25 in the end.) That being said, it's $1000.
Reply reply. Turgineer. •. You're right, it works on Steam as long as the card is Visa and Mastercard. This is a prepaid card (I don't know the company), they are generally useful if you are not old enough to open a bank account or if you want good cashback campaigns (even Steam expenses included). At least that's how it is in Turkey.

I came to Google/Reddit immediately to find out if anyone else is experiencing the same. They better give me my money back 😤. 1.
