And then there were those like Lockhart (as well as the guy next to her on the couch). The latter were at the forefront of acceptance. Liked her as Maureen Robinson.
Jun 25, 2021 · Throughout much of the 1980's and 1990's, I'd send June Lockhart a birthday card and try to time it to arrive on June 25th. Some years I'd include a photo with an autograph request and an SASE. June was always very speedy about signing and returning the photo. I'd usually get them back within a week!

Oct 7, 2024 · WOW - what a great movie from start to finish (nearly clocking in a two and a half hours). Davis gives a great performance, as usual, but this time she plays a more demure soft-spoken character. The supporting cast is excellent, too (including a whiny June Lockhart as a 15 year old).

May 24, 2024 · Darryl was cute. This is an Alfred Hitchcock Presents starring Darryl. Nehemiah Persoff is also in it, a well known character actor of the 1950s and 1960s who died in 2022 at age 102. He delivered DL-level snark about Gene Tierney in his DVD commentary to Leave Her to Heaven--but without the wit or eloquence.
