Aug 10, 2020 · EVs in general are pretty solid long term, even if you decide to keep it forever. KIA already has 10 year warranty on powertrain and batteries, so you're set. There's nothing more the extended warranty can help for an EV. The best approach is to look at the vehicle reliability before looking at buying a car.

I recently had an engine failure that it appears many others with 2016 Sorentos are also experiencing. it seems the problem is coming up then the cars get to a certain milage with most failing between 100k and 150k miles. Read somewhere plug-hybrids we’re delivered in Eastern Canada but I haven’t seen any out West. Waiting for a 2023 Sportage PHEV SX in Vesta Blue. Reply Like.

Jul 31, 2022 · I wonder if Kia's delaying Canada's PHEV because the price is just too low and Kia can make more money cars elsewhere. Canada's EX Premium PHEV trim is such crazy good value compared to the US X-line. For $45k Canadian ($33k USD), the EX Premium PHEV is $5k USD less than US's X-line PHEV before government incentives and it has way more features.
Dec 15, 2021 · Called Kia Canada and they want me to tow the car to the dealership so they can confirm the engine has failed under the recall parameters. Called dealership and they cant even have a look at the car until Jan 15th!
