Apr 23, 2018 · I did a fair amount of buying/selling of video games via Kijiji when I lived in Halifax. For the most part, I encountered normal shit. The occasional person would bail on a deal, meaning I wasted time taking the bus out to the meeting spot. That sucked but was part of the "cost of business" so to speak.

Sep 23, 2019 · This is exactly why I hate posting on Kijiji and the like. People are absolutely remorseless about trying to scam stuff. I posted a Bily baby gate for sale. It retails for close to $200 brand new...asked $100 (as it’s in mint condition). Buddy messages; “I’ll take it for $50 rn”.
I deleted Kijiji a year ago because I got tired of every ‘local’ ad actually being in Mississauga or Edmonton. Its not dead, its just littered with criminals. I misread that as Kejji and thought there was a problem with the national park lol. But yes I agree, marketplace is where it's at.
