Apr 14, 2022 · Kijiji is being replaced by Facebook Marketplace. I moved to the Yukon in 2019 and as I usually do I mostly used Kijiji to buy/sell during the move. I recently moved again within the Yukon and needed to buy/sell quite a bit more than last time and was shocked to see that there are barely any posts on Kijiji anymore, even outside the Yukon.

Used to work for AutoTrader. Kijiji lost the content war. What I mean is they never got the volume of private sales ads where people figure they could get a better bargain than from a dealer, and never offered enough platform specific benefits to the aggregated ads that come from professional dealers’ used car content feeds (Like, price guidance, reviews or slicker media)
