(sometimes) I buy a lot from LV and their customer service is excellent and fast delivery, I even bought once a insert for my router table, and while installing the kit I did not drill the holes at the proper place , I called Lee Valley and told them about my mistake and a few days later I received a new kit at no charge.
Living where I do, I have to conduct my business with Lee Valley online or by phone, but I would much rather spend an hour in the store poking about and chatting with the staff. I've been in and out of the T. East store in less than 10 minutes twice with several bags full on my way to Pearson from Oshawa to catch a flight home.

To my mind, the only thing that will make this a profitable move will be if every school and commercial site are mandated that they must use a saw that cuts wood and insures against stupidity and woodworking yuppies decide they just have to have one.

Dec 22, 2020 · I agree that the price of these things is amazingly high and is all over the map. This is especially true when you realize that many of them don't keep the finer debris from getting down your neck which I find the most uncomfortable aspect of turning!.

Hi all, Both the Varathane and the General Finishes waterbased polys are good products, however there are some small differences that could make you prefer one over the other depending on application: 1) GF contains some petroleum distillates (1-2% according to MSDS).
Oct 18, 2016 · Anybody using the new MagVent dryer hookup from Lee Valley? Pricey at $50, but after finding a disgusting dryer lint mess behind the dryer today it might be worth it. Were using a stacked washer/dryer that has a rather difficult hose hookup and somehow the dryer hose must have came off over the last 6mths.
