Season 2 of FOX's American Action / Adventure television series The Gifted, was renewed on January 4, 2018. The series started airing on September 25, 2018.
This season deals with the aftermath of the season 1 finale, where a group of the Mutant Underground joined the Hellfire Club. It also dived more into the Purifiers while introducing another group of mutants known as the Morlocks.
