Jan 10, 2024 · Malik could leave for a bigger payday elsewhere or stay due to the brotherhood, familiarity, and adequate money from the Kings.----- Malik Monk will be a free agent at the end of this year and the Kings need to figure out if they have a chance to re-sign him come free agency or look into trading him at this year's trade deadline before he leaves.
Apr 22, 2024 · Trae Young and Malik Monk? Together? I don't think Trae Young would like coming off the bench. He'd throw a fit on day 1. I kid. I kid. No but seriously, I'd take Monk any day over Trae Young (who's a bit of a high maintenance cancer) and pairing Malik with Trae would not be ideal for Malik. Trae Young is a high usage hero-ball hog.
