The hospice, which is a partnership involving Saint Elizabeth Foundation, Hospice Toronto, and Inner City Health Associates, provides 24/7 hospice palliative care, including complementary therapies to patients at the end of their lives, with a typical admission having a prognosis of approximately three months.

St. Michael’s was established in 1852 by the Basilian Fathers to serve the growing Catholic population in Toronto, educating the children of immigrants who had come to Canada in search of a better life for their families.
We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of St. Michael’s College operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit.
Since its founding in 1852, the University of St. Michael’s College has been home to influential scholars, teachers, intellectuals, public and community leaders, and at its centre, ambitious and inspiring students.
Systematics professor Dr. Darren Dias, O.P., who celebrated Palm Sunday Mass at St. Mary Immaculate Parish in Richmond Hill, ON, north of the city, will celebrate Easter Mass at St. Patrick’s in Mississauga, spending the Triduum at the Dominican Priory in Toronto.
