First Light is calling on everyone to wear orange on September 30th to show solidarity with those who survived residential schools across Canada and to remember those who never made it home.
First Light receives many requests to attend events to offer land/territorial acknowledgements. It is an honour to be invited by the community to participate in your gatherings.
Home to the First Light Childcare Centre, this location hosts an infant, preschool and afterschool program for children ages newborn to twelve years of age. Following an emergent curriculum, the centre provides regulated full time care to 35 children, Monday to Friday.
