Easy to turn down a 4 year deal worth for example $55-$60 mil in favor of a 3 year deal worth $50 mil since you’ll likely make more in the end.
Oct 3, 2024 · Rui is OK but we have bigger fish to fry in 2025 free agency. His contract next year gets in the way of those plans. True, DFS might opt into his player option year, but even if he does it's $4mil less than Hachimura makes. And Day'Ron is a quality player. Some people really have a way with words.
It’s something Lakers should have developed after the 2019-2020 season. He also runs a lot of 2 guards (Bev-Schroeder) and 3 guards (Bev-Schroder-RW) and pair it with his combinations at 3-4-5 or 4-5 positions. The 2 guards and 3 guards combinations are too smoothen out the clunkiness of their frontcourt.
