Admission is possible at the beginning of each school year for entry into grades 5 to 11. Admission to grade 12 or in the course of a school year is not advisable but may be possible in individual cases.

Schule Schloss Salem is a secondary school where students can graduate with either the Abitur (taught in German) or the International Baccalaureate (taught in English). In grades 5-10, students live and learn at Schloss Salem.
