I rang Argos in Newry but they can not say if they can deliver to ROI or not until the order is inputted in store for which the customer must be present. The old thread on this mentioned that Argos UK would deliver then (2009) for approx £30.

Argos have increased their prices alot since they opened up here, they are now about the most expensive chain for electrical goods, add to that the nasty business of the price fixing of childrens toys they were caught out for.

Oct 28, 2007 · Look at the plugs on the Irish cable. You should only see 2 copper contacts in the 2 center pins. If there is 4 contacts present this can cause problems with some UK phones. The solution is to get a cable with only 2 contacts wired or peel off a bit of the outside insulation on the one you have and snip the 2 outside wires.
Very interested in this since i've seen you can free HD content..The official freesat HD boxes are here, on the official freesat uk website.They really are'nt that dear either, for the actual official ones, that is.Have a look on ebay here.It says here, as well that that particular humax box has an mpeg4 tuner built in so it'll work when rte launch their own digital service.
Oct 24, 2011 · A FreeviewHD spec receiver i.e. DVB-T2/MPEG-4, will do both including the UK terrestrial HD channels when they launch from the NI transmitters in Oct 2012. A Saorview approved receiver will receive the current Freeview channels if you're within the coverage area now. Some of the Saorview certified TVs also have DVB-T2 tuners.

(Note some sellers will not ship some products to Northern Ireland for various reasons). It is then your responsibility to travel to Northern Ireland, collect your package from the OOHPOD locker and import it yourself by travelling back home with it.
