Sep 23, 2024 · I had the same last year - a message from the buyer asking if I could delay dispatch by 4 days, I agreed, bought an eBay label and then had a hell of a job getting my late delivery defect removed, took me about three eBay CS contacts before one of them agreed that the eBay message was sufficient proof that I was doing the buyer a favour and delayed dispatch was at the buyers request.

Customer buys an item on Friday 29th September 2023 in the evening, I print off the postage label via ebay packlink on Saturday 30th September in the morning, and drop it off at the parcel shop AM on Saturday 30th September. The ebay tracking for the customer states delivery Monday 2nd October 2023. How is that tracking correct?

Sep 2, 2024 · eBay will charge the seller a fee , and place a damaging defect on their account. It doesn't take many defects for eBay to remove a seller permanently from their site. eBay do not like unhappy buyers, they tend not to come back to their site to buy. Aug 25, 2024 · There is no option to ask ebay to step in. If you contact them, they will just refund without you getting a refund of selling fee. Always best to deal with, without involving ebay. You accept return, buy a return label, and on return refund. THEN you can report buyer for abuse of the return system, but it will just be a waste of your time.
Jul 20, 2023 · this has been going on now for over 12 months ebay will not do anythink i reqesred they extend the delivery time. amazon .you can set it at 18-21 days delivery .ebay expect a 48 hour parcel in 2 dyas its impossible. if i book it out today it dont get collected till tomorror so how can you even get it deliver when royal cant deliver on time we as a seller are fighting al oosing battle with the dsrs
