Mar 24, 2023 · Every jysk in a city I’ve lived in has had a going out of closing sale and has never actually closed…. I think it’s their business model. I have no IKEA. Even if they do I'd recommend avoiding them. Didn't know there was a place with worse quality goods than IKEA. Jysk curious****.
Jan 24, 2023 · I was originally thinking of buying an inflatable mattress but after doing a quick search on jysk and ikea, their cheapest mattresses are actually almost the same price as the medium end inflatable mattresses I was considering so I'm thinking that a budget normal mattress should be better than a higher end inflatable one.
Apr 30, 2017 · In Canada, I have also found that The Bay, in some cities, in some locations, has furniture clearance sections, that has some pretty high quality, brand name lines, at a decent discount. 2M subscribers in the malelivingspace community. Jan 14, 2024 · Jysk has good duvets and pillows if you avoid the cheapest stuff (this is also their original business), but everything else appear to be absolute crap quality. Meanwhile IKEA has a lot of stuff that is an ok quality - often excellent for the price - and very well designed both functionally and aesthetically.
Mar 15, 2016 · Beautiful! And yeah, avoid big box stores like Jysk and the Brick. We made the unfortunate mistake of buying a dining set from the Brick. We did get a hutch, curio, and 7 piece dining set for $1100 (I brought it down to $1900 retail); however, learning more about woodworking led to me despising my dining set.
Jan 19, 2023 · I haven't got any but I was in one of their branches recently. I was shocked at the amount of badly assembled furniture on display. Either the staff couldn't give a shit about putting the display stuff together properly or the quality is so bad that it's not possible. I'd rather not take the chance that it's door #2. 9.
Nov 14, 2023 · I've gotten a lot of Quests to kill Jysk lately, and they should be available in Dragonora only. But I can't for the life of me find them. I finished Dragonora ages ago of course, so I can't remember every nook and cranny, but I just finished running a lap around the whole (well, I guess not...) planet without seeing any. So where are they? 1.
