We work with all communities in Calgary to find independent living opportunities for community housing clients and operate seven place-based buildings in our PSH program: Madison Place (Veterans), Providence House, Francis Manor, Aurora on the Park, Lodging House, Women’s Building, and The Clayton.
Our Detox Program provides residential care for clients to safely withdrawal from drugs in a medically supportive environment. Our Transitional Program helps move clients safely into permanent housing or long-term drug treatment facilities.

Calgary Alpha House Society was established in 1981 as a committed response to a marginalized population of men and women who are addicted to alcohol or other drugs and living vulnerable on the streets of Calgary. Our services include a Shelter and Detox facility, Outreach Programs, and Housing Programs with intensive case management.
Location: Calgary Alpha House. Alpha House Shelter program is a 24/7 shelter for people under the influence of alcohol or other drugs needing a safe and caring environment.
