Death Cheaters is just pure fun from beginning to end. It has a lot of Australian charm and a winning 70's atmosphere. As we've been saying for years, Grant Page is a national treasure, and both he and the movie itself are very likable.
Mar 15, 2024 · VERDICT: 4/5. I truly enjoyed Deathcheaters. It never takes itself seriously, the onscreen chemistry between Hargreaves and Page feels really natural (indicative of their off-screen mateship), and there’s fun-filled adventure full of raw stunt action, hot babes, cool cars and plenty of laughs.

Jul 26, 2023 · Death Cheaters is a good vehicle for the seemingly-fearless Grant Page and his fellow stuntpeople, and with this film, he can show audiences a different side to his talent, instead of being an "anonymous" stuntman. He can act in a role that's likely fairly close to himself in some ways.
Review: Steve Hall ( John Hargreaves) and Rod Cann ( Grant Page) earn a living as stuntmen in Australia, their current jobs on a shoot in a medieval action setup with clashing swords, flying arrows, horses galloping and things being set on fire - including the stuntmen.

Review by Mandrakegray ★★★½ 1. Awash in charm, this Australian buddy pic from Brian Trenchard-Smith about a pair of stuntmen recruited for an undercover mission by the government goes down like a bottle of ice-cold Carlton Draught.
