    Bulgarian Rock
    Food.com
Bulgarian Rock very hard nougat. This recipe is an old family recipe I have had for years. I used to make for my DH all the time, and he loved it, as did all who tasted it. I have been asked for the recipe a few times, so I am posting it here for others to view. Bulagarian Rock is well know to many Aussies as it is sold in a well known chocolate shop here, although this not be the exact recipe it is very similar. The serving size is up to how large or small you break the pieces. Beware...Its very nice, but you may get a sore jaw from eating it!!!! Ohh and dont go overboard on the blue food coloring as I did once!! lol

    Christmas Rocks
    Delish
Betty Pfeifer's high school cooking teacher had her class make holiday treats to take home. This cookie was such a hit with Pfeifer's mother that she requested the recipe from the teacher.

    Perfect Fingerling Potatoes
    Food.com
This recipe is from Alton Brown's Eat This Rock! You cook the potatoes in heavily salted water and the salt crystallizes on the outside of the potatoes. It seems like a lot of salt but it works. The reviews rave over it! I have slightly adapted it. They are even good cold!
    Grilled Beef Fajitas
    Food.com
This recipe comes from, "The Black Dog" restaurant on Martha's Vineyard. It's my favorite beef fajita recipe, by far! Grilling the beef really makes a difference in flavor and the blend of spices are perfect. However, if you don't want to grill, the beef can be done using a cast iron pan on the stovetop. The beef will have a more intense flavor if you let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours after applying the dry rub. You can also make the salsa, slice the onions and peppers ahead of time. Whether you're entertaining or just have a hankering for a really good beef fajita, this recipe rocks.
    Cheesy Zucchini Casserole
    Food.com
This tasty casserole is great for lunch, as a side dish, or a light supper. The recipe came from a cookbook called "Stand By Your Pan: Country Music Cookbook" by Diane Pfeifer. Her funny alternative country-music-inspired title for the recipe is "Don't Rock The Zuke Squash" :)
Hg's Rockin' Lean Bean Casserole! - Ww Points = 1
    Food.com
Here is yet another Thanksgiving Day recipe from Hungry Girl! The holidays are here. Know what that means? It's green bean casserole time! But did you know that even though the main ingredient in the classic dish is green beans, each serving can have about 250 - 300 calories and TONS of fat? How can that be? It's all those crazy canned fried onions that are crammed into and piled on top of the thing. One little can of those crispy catastrophes has roughly 900 calories and 70 grams of fat! Eeeks! The good news is, with just a few easy swaps, you can make your own version of this holiday fave, for a fraction of the fat and calories. Check out HG's NEW recipe and share it with everyone you know... (Serving Size: 1/8 Casserole - 80 calories, 1g fat, 255mg sodium, 13g carbs, 4g fiber, 3g protein -- POINTS® value 1) Please note that all of the can sizes are approximate as none were provided in the recipe from Hungry Girl. I will update this when I make the recipe! :-) ANOTHER NOTE: ***This recipe will rock your holiday world!!!! The key ingredient here is the Crispy Delites Red Onion Chips. You can buy them online at heavenlydietstore.com or yummydelights.com. In a pinch, you can use an ounce of onion-flavored soy crisps instead.
    Pineapple-Stuffed Cornish Hens
    Taste of Home
My mother brought this recipe back with her from Hawaii about 25 years ago. The tender meat, pineapple-coconut stuffing and sweet-sour sauce made it a favorite of my family and friends. I keep copies of the recipe on hand to share. —Vicki Corners, Rock Island, Illinois
