Eric Bana gave a perfectly serviceable performance in the original Hulk movie, but Edward Norton brought more nuance to the role of Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk. With his portrait of mild-mannered Bruce, hot-headed Hulk, and the Jekyll-and-Hyde complications in between in the MCU, Mark Ruffalo is arguably even better.
