David Dodd Hand (January 23, 1900 – October 11, 1986) was an American animator and animation filmmaker known for his work at Walt Disney Productions. The first Disney feature film, Snow White, began production in 1934, with David Hand as supervising director. It was completed just before Christmas 1937. Work began on Bambi in 1937 but it was not released until 1942.
