Secret Location is a studio working at the intersection of entertainment and technology. Founded in 2008, we were acquired by global independent studio Entertainment One (eOne) in 2016.
Secret Location won its first International Emmy for the interactive the Canadian TV Series Endgame [9] episode. They won a Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award [10] in the User Experience and Visual Design category for a tie-in to the drama series Sleepy Hollow. It is the first time a virtual reality project has been awarded an Emmy.
Secretlab was founded as a startup company in December 2014 [6] by former professional esports players Ian Alexander Ang and Alaric Choo, [7] both of whom specialised in StarCraft II. [8] Its starting capital, which came from the two founders' savings, was S$ 50,000, [9] and went mostly into research and development. [10]

Since acquiring eOne in 2019, Hasbro has divested several assets, including music publishing company eOne Music, which was acquired by private equity giant Blackstone in April 2021.

Illuminarium at The Distillery District. Opening this August in Toronto’s Historic Distillery District in the former Fermenting Cellar. Illuminarium at Distillery is a joint venture between Secret Location and Illuminarium.
