Zekial Marko (October 21, 1933 – May 9, 2008) [1] was an American writer [2] who specialised in crime stories, often under the pen name of John Trinian. [3] He was arrested during filming of Once a Thief and spent some time in prison.

Dec 15, 2022 · It is worth noting that while Marvin Leroy Schmoker/Zekial Marko wrote scripts for television shows, he is better known for his work as an author of fiction under the pseudonym John Trinian. His most well-known work is the heist novel The Big Grab, which was originally published in 1960 and later adapted into the French film Any Number Can Win.

The author, a very proficient writer of crime novels, found success with numerous works, most notably Scratch a Thief and The Big Grab , each written in the early 1960s.
