Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. College Preparatory High School (commonly known as King College Prep or locally as King) is a public 4-year selective enrollment magnet high school located in the Kenwood neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, Illinois, United States.

The New York Times Magazine has named King among the nation’s top schools for economic diversity, ranking the University 21st among institutions supporting mid- to low-income students and their families.
King is one of the few Selective Enrollment High Schools that currently accepts transfer students as incoming sophomores. In 2011, Jeffrey Wright, who was hired from Jones College Prep in 2006 (where he was an Assistant Principal), was replaced by LeeAndra Khan.

There are 25 partially selective high schools in NSW for entry in Year 7. These schools have a mix of local area high school students who attend non-selective classes, and students placed through the selective high school placement processes who attend selective classes together.
