  8. Jan 15, 2023 · I would suggest you test your Mimosa pudica leaves beforehand using TLC (thin layer chromatography) and test reagents such as Mecke and Mandelin. Make an extract if you find a positive presumptive test. I'd not recommending drinking a Mimosa pudica brew because it can contain the toxic amino acid mimosine.
