Even if Pewdiepie was not spending a lot of time every day on it, that could still be like 5x more mileage than the person only attempting once or twice a week. In addition to the amount people are actually drawing, I also think a lot of people are underestimating how long 100 days is, if you're doing a thing every day.

I think PewDiePie had 50k subs when I found him.. I was in a real bad place and watching his videos helped me get through those times. It felt like I was watching a friend just play games. Thank you Felix ♥️

Jan 10, 2018 · "Hey this is the pewdiepie bridge" Pause "WHAT A FUCKING NI-" cutaway to banned stream. It's just a goof and gaff on the fact that pewdiepie got banned a few months back for saying "what a fucking nigger" to a player that killed him. Drama ensued.
Pewdiepie drew for 100 days, constantly and focused on mainly the upper body. He was having fun and learning while doing it. I’ve said this before and maybe this is a bit of a hot take, but if you want to become a better artist, you need to have a lot of patience and consistency with your art and yourself.
