Sep 19, 2024 · "The Tor project has insisted its privacy-preserving powers remain potent" I would hope that is true, but given that the entire project is based on the work of a US Government agency and that there is no reason to not believe that the CIA (or other agencies) is actively involved in it, I somehow doubt that that is entirely true.

The exchange value of the pound has been falling steadily for at least 2 decades, and the fall after the brexit vote was almost entirely due to the rabidly remainer governor of the BoE slashing already artificially low interest rates to almost zero to force the pound to fall.

I saw it in 2018 when I built WebAI (early transformers network that built parts of website, high-level grammar/syntax/register, basic text gen) and sold it. All design was finished. Massive layoffs in the near future.

Oct 3, 2024 · The patent system is broken, the USPO doesn't have the funds or the skilled staff to asses each patent on it's merits, especially in the software and technology sphere. This has allowed large companies to register many many spurious patents that don't hold up to scrutiny. But as said elsewhere, you need the cash to scrutinise them.
