Starting Aug. 1, seniors 65 and up ride free all day, every day, on Burlington Transit. Youth, 13 to 19, ride free on weekdays after 6 p.m. and all day on weekends! You'll need to tap your PRESTO card when getting on Burlington Transit to ride free.

Making it easier to travel on transit with more ways to pay your fare. Metrolinx is bringing you even more options to pay your fare on Burlington Transit. You can now pay your fare by tapping a digital version of the PRESTO card in Google Wallet, on an Android smartphone or Wear OS smartwatch.
On Dec. 31, Burlington Transit will be extending service on Route 1 Plains-Fairview and on all Late-Night routes. Route 1 Plains-Fairview will provide service every 30 minutes, with the last bus departing Hamilton at 1 a.m. and Appleby GO at 1:15 a.m.
