You need to see if your property taxes, utilities, university tuition, etc., is in the payees list (see link to Google doc in the OP), and whether or not you can pay with a different higher earning credit card, WITHOUT surcharges tacked on top.
Apr 10, 2014 · Canadian Tire also offers an optional warranty program called Protection Plan Plus. This optional warranty program includes a no charge tire replacement for tires that have been damaged by a road hazard or manufacturing defect, and is valid up to 5 years from the date of purchase.

Nov 20, 2023 · A bit of an update. My wife had another flat tire which Canadian tire replaced. Interestingly enough, this was the same tire that they had replaced under warranty two years ago. The bill was $36.54 new tire, balancing, environmental fee, shop supplies and includes $7.99 for tire replacement advantage on the new tire (good for 5 years).

So if you go to a CT store and pay with a non CT credit card, debit or cash, and scan your Triangle rewards card, 0.4% will be your return on that purchase (pre-tax). A CT Triangle credit card will earn 10x (or 4%) on that same purchase (again pre-tax).
