Mahlon L. “Babe” Spears, 79 of Glouster passed away Friday June 28, 2024, at the Laurels of Athens. Born August 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Mahlon and Ada Green Spears. He retired from Ohio University. Mahlon was the builder, founder, and member of the House of Prayer in Jesus Name in Glouster.

Sharon E. Ott. Sharon E. Ott, 85, of Chillicothe, passed at 9:17 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born July 16, 1938, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Lee and Opal Massie Hafer. On June 11, 1960, she married Walter J. Ott who passed on February 11, 2013.
