Sep 14, 2019 · Kijiji's map, as in, the map that comes up when you hit the "View Map" button on each individual post page. Wherever the listing ends up on that map is where it'll end up on the extension's map, because that is where the extension gets the co-ordinates from.

Nov 17, 2021 · I think i once accidentally posted sn ad but had it not be "live" for like 2 weeks and couldnt figure out why i was getting no traffic. Then in order to get exposure, you need to join groups which all have individual posting rules. Kijiji is just way easier, but reddit is best imo. The quality of buyer is much higher on reddit.
Jul 13, 2022 · Kijiji is just a lot of ghosting. Bunz was really cool when it first came to Ottawa, but I noticed the quality of other users declined heavily just before they suddenly devalued the Bunz cryptocurrency without telling any of the businesses that took it.
Mar 16, 2022 · I've narrowed it down to Matthew House Ottawa furniture bank or 'Helping with Furniture' (in which we'd be paying a donation/fee to get it picked up) or in the no-cost options, listing it as free on Kijiji, Craigslist, Trashnothing, a Buynothing FB group, or asking neighbors, especially new arrivals.
filtermighty. ADMIN MOD. Why are Kijiji buyers so fucking stupid? So I listed my fridge on kijiji and in the ad, I clearly stated that it had some damaged shelves that need to be replaced. I find a buyer who agrees to pay $600 ($100 off my asking price). He shows up with a truck and a driver and tries to get another $100 off.
Sep 17, 2022 · A side note about buying an iPhone off kijiji: A lot of times people will be selling a “brand new” iPhone they got through the Apple Care replacement plan (they damaged their phone and got a replacement but decided to upgrade so they’re selling the new phone still in the box) but those “brand new” phones are actually just refurbished phones anyway

Ottawa sellers totally overvalue their stuff, or maybe the good stuff just sells quicky. Like tools that are $300 new being sold for $250 used. I'll pay the extra to buy it at the store so I have a warranty, 90 days to return it and it will come with a new blade/cartridge/filter that doesn't need to be sharpened/replaced or whatever.
