Jun 29, 2021 · Must download half tera of files with free account in mega. Mega Bastard wasn't working for me. J downloader 2 distorted the whole files' organization. VPNs slow my Internet speed which is already dying, only give me 4gb by switching between its servers which itself ( 4gb ) takes forever. Wasn't that desperate for such an inefficient route.

There is no connection between MEGA, in its current iteration, and Kim Dotcom. MEGA provides genuine zero-knowledge storage and its encryption is open source. 2FA is standard on all accounts.

Jun 13, 2022 · If it works replace your antivirus. I'd recommend "BitDefender Free" just Google for it but make sure your on BitDefender.com when you do. Unblock the file if SmartScreen is blocking it. Additionally, sometimes it just bugs for me and I need to manually change the file type, as it actually fully finished downloading.
Jun 7, 2024 · MEGA download is too slow. So I usually can download large files (>2 GB) using the MEGA Desktop App at about 3-7 MB/s for a couple of months now. But recently whenever I download anything it would jump to 3-7 MB/s and then decreasing till about 12-99 KB/s before stopping completely after a couple of minutes or hours.

My guess is that Mega stores the file temporarily on the browser’s folder (when it shows the loading of files on the web), so if your C drive doesn’t have enough space Mega cannot write to it. What you can try is to install your browser in the drive with more space and download from Mega with it.
Jan 21, 2023 · Support says it's because I've been using jdownloader, which is BS considering I get the same speeds when downloading directly though the web browser. severs are in new Zealand, i get 900 mb/s download. then again I'm in new Zealand. Maybe it's bottlenecked because of the mega app. Use the megasync app to download.

I went to C:\Users\ [MyUsernname]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge to search for Mega temporary download folder to make sure temporary files is deleted after InPrivate windows crashed/closed but I couldnt find anything, also Edge doesnt even have folder "File System ...
Oct 5, 2020 · 10 mbit/s are too slow yeah. Bad peering. In the mega app under bandwidth there should be an option to disable https upload and if that doesn’t work you could also either increase or decrease the upload chunk/pieces to check which one yields the best upload speed.
