Workaround alternative using Environment Hub and Single Sign-On: Login to Environment Hub org. Search for target org where login is blocked. Click on Organization's name to see org details. Click "Enable SSO" button at the top and click again in confirmation page. Once enabled, click on "New SSO user mapping".
Sep 6, 2023 · Whenever I create a new Devhub trial org, or any kind of trial org, or even Developer Edition org, and follow Verify Account link, it redirects me to login page and doesn't allow to set my password or setup a security question. Every time I have to open another Salesforce Support case to fix this problem and reset a password for every new org.

If you are having the same issue follow the below steps for resolution. Call Salesforce toll free number and ask them to send a reset link to your registered email. Open your registered email and click the link to change password. If the step2 is not working then open your registered email and forward the reset link email to your personal email.

Feb 16, 2017 · I have couple of issues login to my developer orgs. I tried to reset the password. But once the reset link is clicked, it says "Your reset link expired after 24 hours or has already been used." I switched to lightning experience. But now i cannot login to the account. It keep refreshing the page. Neither I cannot switch back to Classic again.
The link to help me login needs me to login!!! Anyway, how can I get back into Salesforce? This is just a developer account, my company has never paid any money to Salesforce, so we don't have any kind of support contract with Salesforce. (My company does not use Salesforce, but we developed a plugin for the Salesforce App Exchange.)
