Nov 10, 2000 · The movie surrounding Nicky is actually pretty good–the best Sandler movie to date. The premise: Satan ( Harvey Keitel ) has been on the job for 10,000 years but decides not to retire. That roils up Cassius and Adrian, who bolt for New York and freeze the gates of Hades behind them.
Although LITTLE NICKY is in the funny-voice category, it benefits from higher production values and a strong supporting cast and ranks as one of the better Sandler movies. That voice gets extremely annoying very quickly, though -- like after the first thirty seconds.
