The park is secured at 10pm. The park is quiet and relaxing and we could see the lake from our campsite. In addition to the lake, there is an exercise area, kayak rental, two dog parks, playground, volleyball and horse shoe pit.

626 Acres120 Acre LakeLaura S. Walker State Park offers a championship golf course around three beautiful lakes, as well as fishing and swimming. Nature trails wind through the longleaf pine, and flatwater kayak rentals allow visitors to paddle the serene lake.
Walking or biking along the lake's edge and nature trail, visitors may spot the shy gopher tortoise, numerous oak varieties, saw palmettos, yellow shafted flickers, warblers, owls and great blue herons.

It is a beautiful Georgia State Park with tall whispering pines, a lovely lake and plenty of room to move around. They also rent covered picnic areas and rooms for parties and get-togethers. The Rangers are helpful, friendly and polite.
