    Carroll Baker was born on March 4th, 1949 in Bridgewater, NS and grew up in Port Medway a small picturesque fishing village on Nova Scotia's South West Shore. She was the youngest of six children born to Gordon and Iverna Baker. She had five siblings; three brothers: Fordan, Truman and Willis, and two sisters: Barbara and Rosemary.
