Poastash. Oh man, for me it's a toss up between JSA and Green Lantern. But I gave Green Lantern an edge because I was a skeptic of the whole rainbow Lanterns (I still raise an eyebrow at the various Oath variations) but I still enjoy rereading key points of that run to this day.
Aliens in Geoff's run always seem to be "Human with purple skin", "very large human with a slightly funky face" or, if you're lucky, "talking earth animal, possibly giant". Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps(which should be the most alien-infused title), and New Guardians all are lead by human Lanterns.
Try Geoff Johns' New 52 Justice League as well. His 50-issue run is easily one of the best titles by DC Comics.
