Brenda Matthews was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After studying at Langara Studio 58, Brenda became a stage actor, working on projects with various theatre companies in the Vancouver area. Although not a singer she did two musicals right after leaving Langara – South Pacific and The Owl and the Pussy Cat.
Brenda recently filmed the supporting role of Aunt Maggie in director Lucie Guest’s newest Movie of the Week – Love at First Flight. In 2016 Brenda was cast as Una in the highly acclaimed short ‘Beat Around the Bush’.
