Facts. Crispus Attucks was born circa 1723. His father, Prince, was from Africa and brought as a slave to America. His mother, Nancy, was a slave of Indian descent. Attucks was raised as a slave in Colonel Buckminster farm. He was sold to Deacon William Brown when he was 16 years old. He was 6 feet 2 inches tall.
